Content Policy: What You Can Upload

Last updated 2026-10-18

MemeVid is for fun videos of yourself and friends who agreed. To keep it that way:

Allowed

• Photos of yourself.
• Photos of other adults who gave you permission to make this video.

Not allowed

• Photos of celebrities, public figures or politicians, including “face swaps” of famous people.
• Photos of anyone under 18.
• Nudity, sexual content, violence, hate, or anything meant to harass, deceive or impersonate someone.
• Uploading videos. We only take photos, so nobody can be placed into existing footage.

How we check

Every photo is checked by Amazon Rekognition before you pay, for three things: a recognised celebrity, a face that looks under 18, and explicit or violent content. A refused photo costs nothing and is not stored. Each effect then uses our own fixed prompt, so a video cannot be steered into something else. Image results are checked again before they are kept; if a result is blocked, its credits come back. Repeated attempts to get around the check can close an account.

AI labelling

All results are AI-generated. If you share them, do not present them as real footage.

If you see your likeness used without permission, email support@memevid.ai and see copyright & takedown.
